Where the run starts

On the afternoon of their wedding anniversary, a living room has been turned into a treatment space with warm stones, oils and a folded towel. Lauren has booked her husband Dan a home massage and is working in the next room, so the house stays quiet. Dan has bought her only a candle and feels a little guilty about it. He wants to relax, which his wife says he never does. Veronica, the masseuse, wants to learn what exactly he holds in, and she is in no rush.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Veronica has asked him to remove everything and the treatment has begun in earnest, while Lauren checks in through the wall about candle scents. Two episodes in, the questions about injuries turn into questions about flexibility, the door is closed to keep in the warmth, and Lauren calls to ask about a charger. Halfway through the second, Veronica reminds Dan that his wife paid for everything.
