Where the run starts

On the morning of her wedding, in a bridal suite crowded with friends and dresses, Tori is about to marry a wealthy man who is happy to meet any friend she brings. A guest named David reaches the door first, and walks into the wrong room by accident. He is not a friend. He is the man she loves. Tori wants the ceremony to go ahead and the money that comes with it. David wants her not to leave him hanging.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, she has sent the bridesmaids out, told him they already settled this and that she does love him, but the groom has money and that is how it is. He asks for a last kiss, and she agrees to a kiss only. Two episodes in, that limit has not held, and the suite becomes the first place where Tori sets her private life against her public one, with the wedding hours away.
