Where the run starts

On a Saturday morning in a small apartment with thin walls, Nate meets the usual weekend routine: his roommate Ben has a girlfriend, Sadie, who stays over each weekend. Nate likes Ben but thinks he is dull, and he says so at breakfast. Sadie calls Nate rude and impossible and wants him to move out. Ben is kind and oblivious, and wants everybody to get along. Nate wants Sadie to admit what he thinks she feels.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Sadie and Nate have argued in the kitchen about what she wants, and Ben has called from the bedroom, then asked Nate if Sadie can stay all weekend. Nate agrees and warns him there may be noise. Two episodes in, it is two in the morning, Sadie is up for a drink of water, and the two of them are in the kitchen where Ben cannot see. Halfway through the second, the roommate asks from the bedroom if she is coming back.
