Accident with My Stepmom

Where the run starts

In a hotel suite on a work trip, Diana argues with her husband over the phone. He has promised to join her and is not coming, while she tells him there is too much to do. Her adult stepson Jerry, who has come along to help, hears it from the next room. Diana wants support and a partner who shows up. Jerry wants to be useful, and he is gentler with her than his father has been.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, a hotel staff member knocks to ask for a signature from her partner, and Diana corrects the mistake: he is her stepson, almost like her son. Jerry tells her that his father is difficult and that he wishes the man were more like her. Then he asks to lie in her lap because he is nervous about being alone, and something shifts between them. The second episode follows from that moment, with Diana worried about how wrong it is and Jerry insisting that he loves her.
