Where the run starts

In a dance studio in the evening, a husband turns up to a tango lesson that his wife booked to save their marriage, and she texts to say she is stuck at work. The instructor invites him to take her place and teaches him the basic step, explaining that the dance is led from the hips. He admits to clumsy feet, and she says he never steps on her. The husband wants to support his wife's plan. The instructor wants more than a dance partner, and when the wife cancels again, she says the wife is missing out.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, it is week two of the lessons, the wife is still absent, and the instructor offers to teach him a private routine. Two episodes in, the lessons have become evenings for just the two of them, with a leg wrap that she asks him to hold higher. Halfway through the second, the wife finally walks into the studio, sees a dance she has never had, and learns it is choreography.
