Where the run starts

On a residential street at the start of each day, a man looks across at a deck where Brandi stretches in the open light. Brandi is married to Doug, whose job keeps him out all night and in bed till midday, so mornings belong to her. She has noticed the attention and keeps the blinds open all the same. The neighbor wants to remain unnoticed, which is no longer possible. Brandi wants the watching to become something nearer, and she knows her husband's schedule to the hour.

By the close of the first episode, the secret is out in the open: she tells him she knows, Doug comes home and goes straight to bed, and an invitation is set for the next morning with a deadline attached. Two episodes in, the neighbor is on her side of the fence for a session that opens as instruction and keeps closing the distance. Halfway through the second episode, Doug turns up early, and the story reaches its third stop with a husband in the house and two people who have to stay quiet.
