Bachelor Party with My Fiancée's Mother

Where the run starts

Two days before a wedding, a groom and his fiancée Emma argue again about whether there will be a bachelor party. She says no and leaves for the evening, and the matter is left with her mother, Josie, who tells him gently that he does not need one. A former dancer, Josie invites him to join her by the pool, asks him to help with her back, and says that before she had Emma she danced for men who paid well. A groom, she says, is owed a real farewell party. The groom, nervous and polite, notes that this is his fiancée's mother and does not leave.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Josie has offered to give him the party his fiancée refused, and he has neither accepted nor declined. Two episodes in, she appears in the dress she wore for her old performances and sets a rule that he may look but not touch, which he follows with a formal yes, ma'am. Halfway through the second episode she moves the evening to the shower and invites him along, and the rule begins to change.
