Where the run starts

In a corporate office on his first day of work, Jake meets Mrs. Margot Vey, the head of the floor and the stepmother of his girlfriend, who persuaded her to hire him. Margot tells him not to embarrass her stepdaughter, then runs a meeting about quarterly projections, calls out a wrong slide and sends everyone out. Jake alone dares to say what he thinks. He wants to keep the job and stay faithful. Margot wants a man who tells her the truth, and she has more in mind than quarterly numbers.
