Where the run starts

On a quiet evening, two friends scroll a dating app, and one of them, Tyler, spots his own mother and tells Jake to swipe left. Jake does the opposite. Hours later, at Tyler's home, Jake meets Mrs. Josie, a composed adult woman, who greets her son warmly and asks Jake to stay over, saying she will prepare the room. Jake wants to keep a friendship intact and a joke harmless. Josie knows exactly who matched with her and wants to see his reaction.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Jake is alone in the hallway, saying out loud that Tyler must not find out, and Josie quietly asks whether he likes what he sees. She has already matched first. Halfway through the second, Tyler goes to shower and calls for his friend to come along, and Jake takes his own turn in the bathroom while thinking that she really wants him. A voice nearby tells him to keep quiet.
