My Bachelor Gift Was My Fiancée's Mom

Where the run starts

On a sunny day before a wedding, a groom-to-be argues with his fiancée about a bachelor party. She refuses on principle, saying she does not want other women touching her future husband, and then leaves the house for most of the day. Her mother, Margot Vey, has the opposite temperament: wilder than her daughter by her daughter's own account, amused by the refusal and ready to correct it. He wants to be a good fiancé and keep the peace. Margot wants him to have a last bit of freedom, and she waits by the pool.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Margot has told him that she planned something just for him, and he walks outside to find out what. Two episodes in, the surprise is explained as her wedding gift: a private afternoon with two friends of hers, Gemma and Lexi. He raises the risk of his fiancée walking back in early, and Margot replies that the risk is the appeal. Halfway through the second, he hesitates until Margot's touch makes the situation real.
