My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule

Where the run starts

On the day before his friend returns, Jake arrives at a house he has been asked to check on and runs into a woman he did not expect, wrapped in a wet towel and asking who he is. She is Margot, his friend Tyler's mother, who explains that Tyler never tells her when friends are coming. Jake explains that Tyler asked him to look in while he is away and that he comes back tomorrow. She gives him one rule for the house: her bedroom is off limits. He agrees politely and then admits to himself that she is very attractive.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, the rule is in place, Jake has promised to respect it, and the thoughts he is trying to avoid have only grown. Two episodes in, he has broken it, and Margot finds him in her room, repeating that she told him not to enter. Halfway through the second episode, he gives in to calling her hot, is told to call her Margot, and she points out that she never said anything about her entering his.
