My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom

Where the run starts

Back from a night in Miami that left no names behind, a man walks up to his girlfriend's family home with flowers, ready to meet her mother for the first time. The person answering the door is the stranger herself. No names or phone numbers were exchanged in Miami, so neither could have guessed. He wants the evening to pass quietly, and she, addressed as Mrs. Akira, wants the same while admitting that the memory has not let go of her. The daughter, cheerful and unaware, goes upstairs to change for dinner.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, the two have agreed in whispers that the daughter must never find out, and the staring across the hallway makes that agreement look thin. A search for a black dress sends the daughter to her closet and gives the others a minute to arrange a meeting in the laundry room. Two episodes in, they are shut in that room while the daughter calls for her boyfriend from upstairs, and the mother tells him to ignore the calls.
