Where the run starts

At the start of the summer, an adult man opens the door to his apartment and finds his stepsister Daisy on the doormat, announcing that their father has agreed she can stay. His girlfriend is in the next room, and she greets Daisy politely and with some curiosity. Daisy wants to be noticed, and she wastes no time asking for a shower and making a show of it. Her stepbrother wants to keep life stable. His girlfriend wants to know why the new guest makes everyone nervous.

He insists that he has a girlfriend now, and she answers that being his secret is the part she misses, and suggests the girlfriend might want to join.
