Where the run starts

On a movie night at home, Ava has declared that the evening is for girls only and sends her boyfriend away to the bedroom. For two years he has had a complication: his girlfriend's best friend is his own stepsister, Camilla. He loves Ava and thinks of Camilla more often than he should. Ava wants an easy night with her friend. Camilla wants more than a movie and has noticed him in the kitchen, getting water, within hearing range of the couch.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, Ava has fallen asleep twenty minutes into the film, as she does every time, and Camilla has told him that he is allowed in now. Two episodes in, she dares him to prove his loyalty while Ava is a few feet away. He objects that the two of them are family. Halfway through the second, Camilla keeps pointing out that this is no reason to stop, and Ava stirs on the couch.
