Camp Rules walks a married pair through a lakeside weekend in a campground that is not the family site they booked. The five episodes lean on awkward comedy, gentle teasing and a slow burn, as the other couples treat unspoken customs as ordinary while the newcomers try to catch up.

Where the run starts

On the first evening at a lakeside campground, a husband and his wife Diana arrive, believing they have found a quiet place for a family weekend. The sign at the gate says as much, though a neighbor named Brody seems to be the only person who read it. The husband wants a peaceful trip and a working awning. Diana, quick to notice how the other woman looks at him, is more amused than he expects. The neighbors are friendly, share the fire, and bring up quiet hours as if everyone already agreed.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, the couples go to their separate tents, and a neighbor tells the husband he knows how much he wants his wife's attention, then adds that he would like to watch. Halfway through the second, a morning of sunscreen and remarks about a king-size bed shows that the place has habits of its own. At night a neighbor asks his wife to demonstrate for her own husband.
