Mona's Worst Enemy follows Mona, an organized woman with firm opinions, as she shares her home with stepbrother David, whom she insists she cannot respect. The fifteen-episode run stages daily duels of wit and stubbornness. The register is bickering, teasing comedy with a slow-burn undercurrent.

Where the run starts

On a day when her father and his girlfriend are both away at work, Mona is collected in a car by her stepbrother David, who has decided to look after her. Mona, a careful woman with an orderly outlook, treats him as a pest and tells a friend by phone that he is simply not her type. David is an adult who enjoys provoking her and sees no reason to hide that he is looking. Mona wants distance and good order. David wants a reaction. A car horn, a drive home and a shared house frame the first stretch of the run.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, David has been told off for staring and has blamed a raccoon on the road, while Mona has privately admitted that she found the attention a little funny. Halfway through the second, her father's girlfriend has asked the two of them to wash up, and David offers a trade: if Mona does the dishes, he will take her clubbing. She refuses, then softens, and a gift for the night out leaves her wondering what he is planning.
