Where the run starts

In the upstairs hallway of a shared home, one bedroom door stands open every day, and every day Noah slows as he passes. It belongs to Ella, his girlfriend's stepsister. This time she is changing, and he is caught with enough time to look away and no excuse for not doing it. Noah wants to stay loyal and honest. Ella wants to know whether he will keep looking, and she hopes he will come in.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, he has followed her invitation into the room. His girlfriend then calls out from somewhere downstairs asking where he is, and he stays silent while Ella tells him to be quiet. After she leaves for work, Ella says he can go, though she is not done with him. The second episode begins with his girlfriend heading out for the evening, and with his own resolve to end it, which does not last once Ella speaks. Then his girlfriend calls from the hall about her keys.
