My Goth Stepsister weaves a secret together across five episodes, beginning with a clumsy collision in a doorway. Sp00kybby plays the stepsister who calls her stepbrother's bluff, and a third person eventually enters the picture. It is brash, sparring and sly, closer to a feud than a romance.

Where the run starts

On a hectic morning in a family home, a stepbrother has twenty minutes to reach a job interview when a stepsister walks into him in a doorway with a cup of iced coffee. His only clean shirt is ruined. She says it was an accident, and he says she is standing where she shouldn't. She is an adult in dark clothes with an attitude to match, and he wants nothing from her except an apology. She wants him to know that she will find some way to settle the score, and she is already thinking about how.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, their parent has stepped in to tell them to move, and she tells a friend that she hates him, then adds that his staring at her was a little cute. Two episodes in, she wakes him with noise from the next room and tells him that their father wants the car washed, that he owes her for the coffee, and that he could pay in another way if he prefers.
