My Neighbor's Husband Works Nights!

Where the run starts

In an apartment building at night, a newly arrived tenant named Jake is woken by a knock from across the hall. The neighbor, Simona, has a leak in her kitchen and needs it fixed right now. Her husband works night shifts, which she says leaves her alone for most of the hours when things go wrong. Simona wants attention and company. Jake wants to be a helpful neighbor in a building where he knows nobody, and he cannot refuse a person in obvious need.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, the leak is repaired, and the husband stops by in person to introduce himself, asks Jake to watch over his wife, warning that she may do something foolish. Hours later she is back at the door with another fault to report. Halfway through the second episode, after the husband has left for work, her shower breaks and sprays water everywhere, and the repair leaves both of them soaked and hesitating about a line they both know is there.
