Where the run starts

On a sunny weekend at a busy outdoor car wash, Roxy is scrubbing vehicles with her coworkers when her stepbrother pulls in and honks. Their father and his girlfriend are away at work, and he has been asked to look in on her. Roxy, an adult with a job and a low opinion of his game, tells a coworker that he is not her type. He wants to provoke her. She wants to be left alone to finish the shift. A soaked shirt, a spare T-shirt in the back and a door left open are the details that matter.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, she has told him that this is the last time he gets to stare, and she has ended up wet through with a borrowed shirt to put on. Halfway through the second, she goes to change and he stays in the doorway anyway. Their father's girlfriend wants the dishes done, he offers a trade of dishes for a night at a club, she says no and then agrees, on the condition that he pays for everything.
