Where the run starts

On a quiet afternoon while the family boat is out on the water, Emilia finds herself alone in a house with her new step-cousin. They have barely two hours before everyone returns, and the awkwardness of being family now only adds to the pull between them. A phone rings with another name on the screen and she ignores it. Emilia wants the man in front of her. Her sister Chloe wants everything Emilia has, and she is quietly paying attention.

By the close of the first episode, Chloe has a photograph and tells Emilia that she will keep it to herself, not yet, as long as Emilia comes to her room that night. Two episodes in, Emilia comes, because she has been told that otherwise Tyler will see what happened. Chloe says one night is the price and sends her back to bed. Emilia and the step-cousin then admit that they cannot undo what they did, and neither one wants to.
