Where the run starts

On a lazy morning at home, a catgirl wakes her partner by demanding to be petted, and he, still half asleep, gives in. She is affectionate, playful, clingy and completely devoted, and she has made breakfast and expects thanks. He teases her, enjoys the attention, and tries to keep her from distracting him when a message arrives on his phone. She asks who is writing. She wants him close; he has news he has been saving, and his hesitation shows.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, he explains that he has been accepted for something far away and has to go, and she asks if he is really going to leave her behind. He apologizes and she shuts herself away from him, refusing to open the door. Halfway through the second, they are talking again, and he is tired of her playing a cat for him, but she answers that the act is only for him. She asks to keep one of his shirts because it smells like him, and says she wants to kiss him over and over before he goes.
