Dragon Queen's Dark Desire

Where the run starts

In a fantasy court, Colette Ramsey, a grown woman and heir to a dragon throne, cannot transform into her dragon form. Her mother brings in a warlock healer to fix it. Colette is engaged to a fiancé and says that she should not cheat, though she wants the healer more than she says. The healer is a man of quiet competence who needs to examine her skin directly to find the spell, and she finds the sight of him affecting.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, he has begun his examination, she has undressed for it and asked him not to look away, and the healing has started to feel like something more. Halfway through the second, the examination ends without a cure, her mother tells her she will never be queen unless the spell breaks, and the healer decides it cannot be broken by one person. He leads her to Agatha, the grower of the single ingredient that matters, who is delighted to meet a future queen. Colette says she cannot cheat, and Agatha replies it is not cheating if she uses only her mouth.
