Where the run starts

In a city where everyone trades in memories, Olivia Carter works as a carrier who moves them from seller to buyer without ever looking inside. She has one rule, never to open what she carries, and it keeps her safe. Her contact Sable dares her to take a single dive, saying that fear is the only thing stopping her. Olivia wants to stay alive. Sable wants her curious. A man named Kael, who appears inside the chip, keeps watching her as if he might disappear.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, she has taken the dive and finds herself living a stranger's most intimate night, in which the man calls her Olivia Carter, a name she has never told anyone. Halfway through the second, she is told to return the chip and not dive it again, while someone claims a megacorp erased him from the system a year ago. Sable begins to find a file that points back to a woman he is dying to see again.
