Where the run starts

On a weekday morning at a couple's home, Anna welcomes her oldest friend Riley, who has come for a week-long stay following a rough split. The husband realizes who the guest is the moment she walks in: Riley used to be a world-famous adult performer, and she says she has left that business behind, though not firmly. Anna leaves for work with a joke about playing nice. The husband works from home. Riley, who knows more about the marriage than he would like, wants company and attention.

Episodes 1 and 2

By the close of the first episode, the two are alone, and her remark that they can keep each other company hangs in the air. Halfway through the second, Riley asks about the last time he and Anna were close, repeats what Anna has told her, and says his interest was always aimed at her. When he protests that she is his wife's friend, Riley answers that friends share, and she makes the first move.
